Assembling the STIHL SHA 140 and removing the catcher bag can be done without the need for tools. Its wide openings allow for easy access when cleaning the tool, mean clogs can be cleared with ease. The ergonomic design of the handle means the tool is comfortable to use thanks to the wide handles and the positioning of the collection bag. The ventilation openings on the collection bag enables constant suction power regardless of the fill level of the bag, and the metal shredder blade on the shredder reduces the size of material to better fill the bag and speed up the composting of material.

The STIHL SHA 140 is a high-performance battery-powered vacuum shredder apart of the AP Series range, they are designed for professional users. With 15% more suction power compared to the petrol STIHL SH 86 vacuum shredder, the STIHL SHA 140 is the ideal tool for professionals working in landscaping and grounds maintenance. The vacuum shredder will efficiently vacuum leaves, grass and hedge clippings with ease before shredding them directly in the machine. It’s excellent suction power means it doesn’t matter what surface you are working on – whether it is asphalt, concrete, gravel, lawns or flowerbeds – the STIHL SHA 140 will be able to vacuum and shred with ease. On a full charge with the recommended AP 300 S battery, the SHA 140 has a working time of 60 minutes or 38 minutes on boost mode.
