SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC / DIESEL MECHANIC (Full-Time)

The Role

The role will see you working at our Canning Vale premises, working on a wide range of equipment from outdoor power equipment, compaction equipment, ride on mowers and utility vehicles. You will play a key role supporting our customers with their service and repair requirements.

Role Requirements:

  • Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune, maintain and test small engines (Petrol and Diesel)
  • Detect and repair electrical faults (battery powered equipment)
  • Carry out mechanical repairs on a petrol and diesel-powered equipment.
  • Carry scheduled servicing as to manufacturers requirements.

Successful candidate:

  • Trade qualified small engine mechanic and/or Diesel mechanic.
  • Experience working on Stihl, Honda, John Deere or Wacker Neuson, Kioti preferred but not essential.
  • Have good time management skills.
  • Follow companies OH&S and SOP procedures.
  • Hold a Current C Class licence.
  • Hold a current forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
  • Be physically fit and willing to work hard within a team environment.
  • Undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug and Alcohol test.
  • Have good computer skills.
